Product description The Yamaha MCR-332 Mini-System does it all - it plays your iPad, iPhone, iPod, CDs, and the AM/FM radio. What's more, it plays everything in style - from its piano-like finish to the aluminum hairline front panel and knobs, this is one good-looking system. Additionally, the MCR-332 features 2-way bass reflex speakers, a subwoofer output, AUX-in terminals for various audio devices, and an included remote control. When it comes to "technology" the MCR-332 isn't behind the times. Simply plug in your USB drive and enjoy WMA, WAV, and MP3 audio files. When playing CDs track information - including the CD's title, the artist's name, and the title of the track - appear on the display. Power output is an impressive 20W + 20W, while the speakers sport a 60Hz-38kHz frequency response and 6 Ohms of impedance. - Superior Sound that Lives Up to the Standards of the PianoCraft Series
- The foundation of the MCR-332's excellent audio performance is a Yamaha-developed digital amp that provides smooth, unforced sound output. The receiver's separate digital and analog low-noise circuitry ensures thoroughly high sound quality, which is delivered by new-design speakers
- Digital USB Connection for iPad and Other USB Devices
- A USB terminal on the top of the unit makes it quick and easy to plug in an iPad or other USB device. The digital connection permits fast, loss-free signal transmission
- Dock Digital Connection for iPod, iPhone
- The iPhone/iPod dedicated dock provides a digital connection, which means that the digital signal from the iPhone/iPod is transmitted directly to the receiver. This minimizes noise interference and allows use of the MCR-332 DAC, rather than the /iPhone/iPod DAC, resulting in more precise sound reproduction
- Front Panel and Knobs Have Aluminum Hairline Finish
- The aluminum hairline finish of the front panel and knobs also contributes to the overall high class appearance of the system
- Luxurious Piano-Like Finish and Removable Speaker Grilles
- Drawing on decades of experience creating fine pianos, Yamaha gives its speakers a beautiful piano-like finish that looks elegant in any setting. The speaker grilles are also designed for good looks, but can be removed for a more basic appearance
- New-Design, High Sound Quality 2-Way Bass Reflex Speakers
- The 2-way bass reflex speakers use new-design 4-3/8" woofer units, have deep cabinets and are supported by three legs that prevent external vibrations from affecting the sound. The result is powerfully resonant bass and rich mid-range and treble, so you enjoy high sound quality with good imaging
- VCCS Technology Ensures That the Speakers Accurately Reproduce the Sound from the Main Unit
- Speaker cabinets vibrate, degrading sound quality. To overcome this, Yamaha drew upon its musical instrument manufacturing expertise to develop an internal structure called VCCS (Vibration Control Cabinet Structure), which uses strategically placed pieces of a composite material that provides excellent vibration isolation performance
- Large-Size, Screw Type Speaker Terminals
- Both receiver and speakers use these large terminals to ensure high quality, reliable connection
- Subwoofer Output and AUX-In Terminals
- The subwoofer out terminals let you connect a subwoofer to enjoy enhanced bass power and response. The AUX-in terminal allows connection of other audio components
- New Style Remote Control
- The remote control has a simplified design that makes it extremely easy to use
- Additional Features
-
- FM/AM tuner with preset tuning
- CD text compatibility
- Made for iPod/iPhone/iPad
- "Made for iPod, iPhone and iPad" means that an electronic accessory has been designed to connect specifically to iPod, iPhone, iPad, and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple performance standards
- iPod Digital Connection
- iPod digital connection means that the digital signal from the iPod is transmitted directly to the system, minimizing noise interference and allowing use of the DAC not in the iPod, but in the system. This results in more precise sound reproduction
- USB
- This unit is equipped with a USB port that allows you to enjoy WAV (PCM format only), MP3 and WMA audio files from a USB memory device (USB flash drive)
- CD Text Display
- Get information about the CD currently playing right on the CD player's display. The 3-mode text display shows the CD's title, the artists name and the title of the track
