Product description Created to provide multiple characteristics of a traditional classical guitar while offering a variety of modern features, the NTX900FM Thin-Line Acoustic/Electric Classical Guitar from Yamaha features a solid Englemann spruce top with flamed maple back and sides, a nato neck, and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The natural finish, 25.6" scale length, nylon strings, traditional bridge, and slotted headstock all reflect the classical heritage of the guitar, while the thin body, narrow neck, 14th fret neckjoint, and cutaway design exemplify the modern influences, aimed at providing greater comfort and playability to accommodate steel-string acoustic and electric players. For electronics, the guitar features Yamaha's System 61 Two-Way A.R.T. pickup system. System 61 functions by using two undersaddle piezo pickups, one for the bass side and one for the treble side, each with individual level control. In addition to the individual pickup control, there is a 3-band graphic EQ, a master volume control, and a built-in chromatic tuner. The electronics are powered by a 9V battery (available separately) and a battery check indicator will illuminate to signify that the battery needs to be replaced soon. - Features
