Product description

The Portable Powered Mixer and Passive PA Speakers Kit from B&H is a portable PA setup designed to provide flexible connectivity and high-powered sound reinforcement for bands, theater groups, and audio engineers in rehearsal spaces, clubs, concert venues, and other live stage applications. It includes one Yamaha EMX 5 powered mixer, two Yamaha S115V passive PA speakers, and an IEC power cord. Carry handles on the mixer and speakers allow easy portability between gigs.The EMX 5 mixer features 12 inputs–eight microphone inputs and four stereo line inputs. XLR, RCA coaxial, 3.5mm, and 1/4” input jacks enable compatible connectivity with a variety of sources. Quickly reign in strong peaks via one-knob compression on the first four channels. Use the feedback suppressor to minimize vibe-killing screeches. 24 built-in effects give you plenty of ways to enhance your sound. With 3-band EQ on each channel and one-knob EQ on the master bus, you can efficiently tweak the tonal balance before it is sent to the integrated 1260W amplifier.Each S115V passive PA speaker features a 15” woofer, 2” titanium tweeter, and 500W RMS power handling. The 129 dB maximum SPL ensures that you won’t have to worry about not being heard.
  • Yamaha EMX 5 12-Input Powered Mixer The Yamaha EMX 5 is a 12-input powered mixer with an integrated 1260W amplifier, eight mic/line inputs, four stereo line inputs, and two Aux sends. The mixer features a Hi-Z guitar input on channel four and each channel offers a 3-band EQ for custom tailoring your sound. Channels 1-4 offer XLR-1/4" combo jacks. Channels 5 through 12 provide mono XLR inputs, with channels 5-8 offering 1/4" inputs and 9-12 offering an additional set of stereo RCA inputs. Channels 11/12 also include an 1/8" stereo mini-jack for connecting portable music players.

    The EMX 5 includes a single knob compressor on channels 1-4, an integrated feedback suppressor, and a built-in multi-effects processor with SPX series algorithms. Additionally, the mixer offers a Master EQ, which provides a single knob to control the level of low end. At the far left, the speech setting cuts low frequencies, while the middle position is neutral for music playback. The far right setting provides a Bass Boost to enhance music playback. Optional accessories available include a foot switch for effects bypass and a rack-mount kit. The EMX 5 ships with a standard IEC power cord.
