Product description Enjoy 5.1-channel surround sound with your favorite speaker system and the Yamaha RX-S602 5.1-Channel MusicCast Network A/V Receiver. It has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi built-in for wireless connection to your compatible smart devices. The receiver outputs up to 55W per channel at 8 Ohms and features YPAO sound customization to tailor the sound to your environment.
In addition to its wireless compatibility, the RX-S602 has four HDMI inputs and one output, which support UHD resolution and HDR, and the output supports ARC. It also has a USB port on the front for the playback of files stored on flash drives. - Compact Design
- The RX-S602 is less than 4.5" high under 13" deep, allowing it to be tucked into your credenza or shallow A/V rack without jutting out from the front, making it easier to place or hide neatly.
- UHD 4K Support via HDMI
- 4K pass-through lets you enjoy UHD video at 60 frames per second. The receiver also supports HDR pass-through for Dolby Vision and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) for enhanced color and contrast with compatible source content and equipment.
- Designed for Simple Streaming
- Integrated Wi-Fi allows the receiver to connect to your wireless router for simplified streaming and networked audio from your computer or NAS. Bluetooth connectivity is also onboard for streaming from your compatible device.
- CINEMA DSP 3D
- CINEMA DSP 3D is designed to combine measured sound field data with digital signal processing to simulate the acoustic effects of concert halls and music clubs from around the world.
- YPAO Sound Optimization
- YPAO (Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer) is engineered to analyze the room's acoustics and your system, then adjust various audio parameters to optimize the audio for your room. By placing the included microphone at your listening position and activating YPAO, the system tunes itself for optimal performance.
- Designed for Low Distortion
- The RX-S602 features fully discrete power amplifiers to help minimize distortion, and uses independent pure power supplies for the analog and digital circuitry. They house 384 kHz / 32-bit DACs, also with independent power supplies. Additionally, the heat sinks are designed to help suppress vibration.
- Easy Operation with the MusicCast App
- The free MusicCast app puts control of the RX-S602 in the palm of your hand. Access your sources and streaming services, adjust volume and sound settings, and link with other MusicCast devices for simultaneous playback throughout your home.
- Amazon Alexa with MusicCast
- With Alexa voice control integration, you can use any Alexa-enabled device to control the receiver and multiple MusicCast devices throughout your home.
- Integrated Streaming Services
- The receiver has a number of streaming services built-in, making syncing your playlists and likes from your smart device to the receiver and discovering new music easier.
- Intelligent Amp Assign
- This feature lets you enjoy stereo sound in a second room. When Zone 2 is turned on, the two rear channels are redirected to the two speakers in Zone 2, while providing 3.1 channels of power in the Main Zone, so you don't need to switch speaker cables for a second setup.
- AV Setup Guide App
- The AV Setup Guide app is designed to provide assistance with cable connections between the receiver and your source devices. It also guides you through various settings, such as speaker connections, TV and source device connections, and power amplifier assignments.
