Product description Aerial Photography and Drone Glossary Read More The Mantis Q Drone from Yuneec features a built-in camera that can capture UHD 4K video and high-resolution 16:9 or 4:3 still images. With intelligent flight modes, you can give your 4K footage a professional and cinematic feel; but that's not the only way to control the Mantis Q. A remote controller is included with a built-in smartphone holder, letting you pair an iOS or Android device for standard piloting. In addition, voice and gesture commands can be given for common functions, such as saying "Take a Selfie" or waving your hands to snap a picture.
The Mantis Q has been engineered to travel and operate almost anywhere. Yuneec has provided the Mantis Q with advanced stabilization technology, down-facing dual sonar sensors, and infrared detection so it can be flown both indoors and outdoors. When heading outside you can take advantage of the Mantis Q's compact and foldable design which makes it easy to throw into a backpack or bag.
With a top speed of 44.7 mph, you can experience the thrill of racing your Mantis Q quadcopter in sport mode while watching the footage on your smartphone. Video is wirelessly transmitted with a latency up to 200ms. Or you can choose to conserve battery life for aerial photography and videography, flying the Mantis Q for up to 33 minutes on a single battery charge. - Intelligent Flight Modes
- Journey: This customized setting will fly up on a linear path and then return automatically.
Point of Interest: Select an object on your display while in POI (Point of Interest) mode and the Yuneec Mantis Q will automatically circle it while filming.
Visual Follow: Follows a selected target.
Return Home: With the push of a button, the Mantis Q will automatically return to a point near where it took off from. - Gesture and Voice Control
- The Mantis Q can both see and hear you, allowing you to capture footage and take pictures without the need of the remote controller. Simply smile at the drone or wave your arms to tell the Mantis to take a selfie or group shot from up to 13' away. For complete hands-free operation, you can use your voice to tell the Mantis Q quadcopter to "Wake Up" (power on), "Take a Picture", "Record a Video", or "Take a Selfie".
