Product description The Zacuto Blackmagic Pocket Camera Z-Finder 2x is an optical viewfinder designed specifically for use with the LCD screen on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. The Z-Finder uses 2x magnification to turn the camera's 3.5" LCD screen into a clear, easy-to-focus viewfinder that lets you see your image in magnified detail. Thanks to the light-proof eyecup it also provides added stability to your handheld footage by adding a point-of-contact between the camera and your eye. The Blackmagic Pocket Camera Z-Finder features a redesigned optics system which allows you to apply optical correction depending on your eyesight. The system uses a set of four diopters (0, +1, +2, and +3), and an additional -1 and +4 diopter can be purchased separately. Coated on all the diopters is Zacuto's improved anti-fog formula to prevent fog from forming on your viewfinder. The 0 diopter gives you fog protection without adding optical correction. In order to attach the Z-Finder to Your Pocket Cinema Camera, the Zacuto adhesive frame must be placed around the LCD screen. Once in place, the Z-Finder will pop on and off the frame for quick shooting. When not in use, the Z-Finder can hang around your neck using the included lanyard. Also included in a convenient carry pouch and a newly designed sun mask to reduce the risk of sun damage to your camera's LCD screen. Note: The Z-Finder is a magnifier and as such will magnify the sun which can damage the LCD screen if the sun is allowed to shine directly through the Z-finder lens. Use the enclosed lens cap to block light from entering your Z-finder when not in use. -
