Product description The Zacuto Indie Gratical HD Bundle includes the VCT Pro baseplate, Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel handgrip, QR Riser, Halfcage Rail, Recoil Handle, Gratical HD Micro OLED EVF, and Axis Mini ENG-style mount. The VCT Pro baseplate is compatible with cameras such as the Canon EOS C-series, Sony FS5 and FS7, AJA CION, BlackMagic, RED cameras, Arri Alexa and Amira, DSLRs, Mirrorless and more. The VCT Pro has a built-in, curved shoulder pad and an Arri M6 rosette for accessories and grips. The Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel Handgrip comes with a black 4.5" rod and a Z-Mount Zwivel. It easily mounts on any 15mm rod with the quick-release handgrip. The QR Riser allows you to raise your camera to a matte box compatible height, while also providing quick-release functionality for the camera. The Halfcage Rail attaches to the Zacuto VCT Universal baseplate and creates a solid, universal cage structure around the side and top of your camera. The Recoil Handle is a maple wood-lined handgrip that mounts to a Z-Rail or compatible mounting rail. At the heart of the EVF is a micro OLED panel with 5.5 million dots of resolution that produces an image with true blacks and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, supporting RGB at 24-bits for vivid color rendition. A versatile and adjustable means for attaching a rosette-mounted EVF to your camera, the Axis Mini is an ENG-style mount that is designed to attach to the top of your camera setup and provide you with ample room for adjusting focus or working with large lenses. - VCT Pro Baseplate With built-in ergonomic shoulder pad, 10" sliding track, extra space for accessories in front, VCT14-compatible V-wedge, red buttons and levers all around, and much more, this is the stylish VCT Pro Baseplate from Zacuto. Use it with all types of cameras, from DSLRs to larger models, like the Alexa.
A section of the baseplate extends out beyond the 15mm LWS rod adapter in front. With the rod adapter thus set back, you have additional space to mount accessories under the camera lens, allowing you to position the camera further back on the plate, keeping the balance point of your rig directly over your shoulder. (The rod adapter is vertically adjustable 1", and has to be in a raised position to allow for accessories to be mounted in the additional space. Also, a 1.8" riser for the rod adapter is optionally available for RED cameras by special order from Zacuto.) Also, on the bottom of the section that protrudes out is where the V-wedge is. There is also a 15mm LWS rod adapter on the rear. The VCT Pro Baseplate features a 10" sliding track, providing the space to optimally adjust balance after every lens change. Moreover, the included red camera plate can be loosened by a spring-loaded lever instead of a screw, so you can make adjustments quickly and easily. To fully release and remove the plate (and camera), just press a red button on the side of the baseplate and slide the plate out. The rod ports also have spring-loaded levers. An ARRI M6 rosette is available on the front for attaching accessories and grips, and there are also three 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the side providing additional mounting options. 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount holes are available on the bottom to use instead of the V-wedge. The shoulder pad runs pretty much along the entire length as well as width of the baseplate, and is made of gel polymer. Two 6.5" 15mm rods are included. One 1/4"-20 and one 3/8"-16 screw are supplied for the camera plate. The VCT Pro Baseplate is made in the USA. - Key Features

The Zwivel allows you to change the angle between two 15mm rods by loosening the single lever that controls both the 15mm holes. Adjustments to achieve the desired angle are possible by the separation between the parts induced by the integrated spring.
- The Zwivel allows you to change the angle between two 15mm rods by loosening the single lever that controls both the 15mm holes.
- The Handgrip supports all 15mm rods with the quick release handgrip.
- The integrated spring separates the parts for you to achieve the desired angle between the rods.
- QR Riser The Zacuto QR Riser allows you to raise your camera to a matte box compatible height, while also providing quick-release functionality for the camera. It supports DSLRs and other cameras with low-lens positioning relative to the camera body (such as the Sony FS700).
- Halfcage Rail for Zacuto VCT Universal Baseplate The Zacuto Halfcage Rail attaches to the Zacuto VCT Universal baseplate and creates a solid, universal cage structure around the side and top of your camera. It features a contoured wood side grip, and the built-in double-sided Z-Rail offers you the ability to add an optional top handle or Zacuto Coldshoe lock (not included). The side grip incorporates fifteen 1/4"-20 threaded accessory mounting points.
An included 5" Z-Rail attaches along the side of the VCT Universal baseplate with two 1/4"-20 screws. The Halfcage Rail then attaches that 5" Z-rail via a spring-loaded quick-release. At its most compact height, the Halfcage Rail has a clearance of 5.5". Four Allen head screws enable you to adjust the height to a 9" clearance. The side grip incorporates a 15mm rod port for attaching accessories. - The contoured wood handle is made of hand-tooled maple.
- You can adjust the clearance height from 5.5 to 9" to accommodate a variety of different cameras.
- The double-sided top Z-Rail allows you to use a Zacuto Coldshoe Lock (not included) to secure your camera to the Halfcage by usng your camera's cold shoe. Please confirm compatibility with Zacuto prior to attempting this.
- The Halfcage Rail features a special magnetic indentation along the side for storing the included Allen key.
- Both locking levers, the QR for the Z-Rail and the integrated 15mm rod clamp, are spring-loaded. This allows you to tighten the clamps fully, even when you can't rotate the levers through a full 360°.
UPC: 414591859785 - Recoil Handle The Zacuto Recoil Handle is a maple-wood-lined handgrip that mounts to a Z-Rail or compatible mounting rail. This provides a comfortable yet secure handle for your camera rig, and the rail-style mounting allows you to adjust the handle along the length of the rail to improve your rigs balance. It features two cold shoe mounts (one vertical and one horizontal) and secures both mounts with a single lever. The integrated 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole, and 15mm rod clamps further expand on the Recoil Handle's usefulness.
Machined aluminum construction provides a balance of strength and weight, and the unit is anodized for corrosion and wear resistance. Large, spring-loaded locking levers provide a good grip and the capability of tightening the clamps without rotating the levers throughout the entire 360° range. Key Features - The Recoil Handle clamps securely along the length of a Zacuto Z-Rail, allowing you to adjust the balance of your camera or camera rig. In addition to the Z-Rail, the handle is compatible with a variety of rails including: NATO, SWAT, RED, Picatinny, and Wooden Camera. You can mount the handle with the cold shoes or the rod clamps.
- The maple-wood grip linings remain cool in hot weather and are generally considered to be more comfortable to hold. The wood is tooled to provide finger slots for increased comfort and grip.
- The two cold shoes incorporate built-in stoppers and a single lever clamps both shoes simultaneously, securing your accessories. A 1/4"-20 accessory mounting point is threaded into the side of the cold shoe mounts.
- Two offset 15mm rod clamps allow you to mount rods at right angles to each other. Each rod clamp features its own spring-loaded locking lever.
- Gratical HD Micro OLED EVF Rising far above the readily available generic EVF or LCD screen with a loupe magnifier attachment, the Zacuto Gratical HD Micro OLED EVF packs more display features and functions than is found in many much larger EVFs and on-camera monitors. At the heart of the EVF is a micro OLED panel about the size of your thumbnail with 5.5 million dots of resolution that produces an image with true blacks and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, supporting RGB at 24-bits for vivid color rendition. You can choose to display a 720p image within the full resolution display of the OLED and then display the various scopes and signal displays outside of your picture area, which allows you to have an unobstructed view of your image while being able to see a waveform or histogram display of your image.
The EVF incorporates both SDI and HDMI loop-through inputs/outputs and can cross convert from HDMI to SDI. It also supports peaking, false color, and test pattern generation as well as LUT creation and import. You can also select to view/display audio meters. The unit features four user-programmable buttons for often-used menu selections, and supports multiple frame rates. Zacuto has designed the entire optical path, providing a diopter that is adjustable from -1 to +4. The optical path includes an automatic light trap that can prevent damage to the EVF from accidental exposure to direct sunlight. Incorporating an ARRI-compatible rosette and a 1/4"-20 mounting hole provides a variety of means to mount the EVF to your camera. The EVF powers from a single LP-E6 type battery, and this 1800mAH battery provides approximately four hours of constant run time. General Features - The 1280 x 1024 resolution of the OLED allows it to display a 1280 x 720 image and various diagnostic displays without needing to overlay the signals over the image. You can adjust the position of your image and displays to what suits you best, or you can also choose to overlay the diagnostic signals on the image.
- You can create and store LUTS within the EVF and apply individual LUTS to either or both the EVF display and the downstream video.
- The OLED display and outputs are independent of each other, which means you can display the video signal with one LUT on the EVF and send the video signal with a different LUT to an external monitor. Likewise, you can display the various test signals and diagnostic signals either on both the EVF on a downstream monitor or either one or the other.
- Weather resistant covers prevent moisture or debris from getting in open ports.
- You can choose to display audio meters in the EVF.
- LUTs, test patterns, scope displays, and other display functions can be displayed in the EVF or simultaneously on the downstream video. You can select to have the EVF and the downstream video display different LUTs and/or display functions as well.
Test Patterns & Diagnostic Signals - Scopes
-
- The waveform provides an objective evaluation of your video signal. It displays the brightness of your image on an IRE scale, allowing you to see if your image will clip and where your black levels are.
- The Vectorscope displays the signal on a graph so you can check the phase of your colors. The Vectorscope function also verifies and checks the overall tint and hue of an image.
- The Historgram view allows you to see where your pixels are distributed in the spectrum of black to white, providing a quick way to see where your exposure values fall. You can choose to display the Histogram as either RGB or Luma.
- False Color
- The False Color feature provides under/over luminance warning by presenting the image as a series of color values representing exposure.
- Peaking
- Peaking highlights the sharpest (most in focus) areas of the image with a color outline.
- Zebra
- Provides a crawling black and white pattern overlaying areas that exceed the brightness levels you select.
- Frame Store
- You can store frames within the EVF to recall them at a later time. You can also adjust the transparency of the frame store and superimpose it on the current view when you need to align shots.
- Test Pattern Generation
- The EVF can generate color bars and a Macbeth color chart
UPC: 741459186128 - Axis Mini EVF Mount A versatile and adjustable means for attaching a rosette-mounted EVF to your camera, the Zacuto Axis Mini is an ENG-style mount that is designed to attach to the top of your camera setup and provide you with ample room for adjusting focus or working with large lenses. It attaches directly to rigs fitted with a 15mm rod port and then connects with EVFs, such as the Gratical HD, using a secure 1/4"-20 rosette mount, or can also be used with 1/4"-20 screw mount EVFs with the separate Quad Rail for mounting.
Once attached, the Axis Mini's adjustable design utilizes four main pivoting points, which can spin a full 360° and are controlled using independent tension levers. With all levers unlocked, you can freely position the EVF at will using a single hand, or specific sections can be tightened down for fine-tuned adjustments on a single axis. Additionally, the articulation can be configured to work seamlessly with both shoulder-mounted rigs as well as for tripod-based shooting.
