Product description - Zacuto - Sony F5/F55 Top Plate Demo
The Zacuto Sony F5/F55 Top Plate attaches to the top of your F5 or F55 camera and provides numerous accessory mounting options. It includes a 5" Z-Rail, Recoil Handle, 15mm Z-Lock, and a 4.5" (11.4 cm) 15mm rod. The top plate offers rows of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw holes across the top for accessories. Built into the back of the plate are two 15mm rod clamps with a small lip inside to stop arms or rods from falling through and damaging your camera. The Recoil Handle top grip attaches to the included 5" Z-Rail with a spring-loaded locking lever. The handle incorporates two cold shoes offset by 90°, enabling you to mount more than one accessory at a time. The handle also incorporates a 15mm rod clamp 15mm rod port. The included 4.5" rod can be used in any of the spring-loaded rod clamps, including the removable 15mm Z-Lock at the front of the plate. A film plane marker screw and lens mount locking screw are also included. - The Recoil Handle mounts on the 5" Z-rail, which you previously attached to the top plate, this enables forward and back adjustment of the handle to find the optimal balance.
- The plate features two built-in 15mm rod clamps that enable attaching 15mm rods vertically. The rod clamps incorporate a small lip that prevents the rods from sliding through all the way.
- An included Z-Lock 15mm rod clamp can be mounted along the top plate to suit your needs.
- The included 4.5" 15mm rod features female threads on both ends.
