Its moderate magnifying power produces a very steady image for observing distant objects, and its wide field of view – 540 feet at 1000 yards – lends itself to use at concerts, plays, and sporting events. Meanwhile, the 4x12 Mono's close focus distance of just 18" is useful for examining flowers, insects, brushstrokes on paintings, or fine printed matter.This monocular's compact form factor – only 2.4" long and weighing just 1.6 ounces, with a leather pouch and a carrying strap – make it easy to have on hand.
