Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More The Universal Wired and Infrared Remote Release from Ziv is a two-in-one shutter release designed to work with most DSLR cameras. The remote contains a built-in infrared transmitter which, when paired with an IR enabled DSLR, can wirelessly trigger the camera shutter from a distance of up to 15'. The infrared mode can be used with a single button press or can lock for bulb exposures.The remote can also function as a wired trigger for select DSLR cameras when used with one of the 8 included shutter release cables. The wired mode also utilizes both single press and lock modes and does not require a battery to function. The switches on the back and sides of the remote are used to control a built-in LED which blinks in different patterns to indicate that the shutter has been triggered.
