Product description The Zoom H5 Handy Recorder and Waterproof Case Kit from includes an H5 recorder, an XYH-5 X/Y microphone capsule, a 2GB SD card, two AA batteries, a foam windscreen, and an SKB iSeries waterproof case. It is well suited for transporting and protecting your H5 recorder and accessories when working in the field, on live recordings, video, live broadcasts, or electronic news gathering projects. The H5 handy recorder is a versatile, four-track, portable recorder with two mic/line inputs. It doubles as a USB interface and features an interchangeable microphone system with six capsules (one included, five available separately), which can be swapped out as easily as the lenses of a camera. Specifically designed for the Zoom H5, the SKB iSeries military-standard, waterproof hard case offers your recorder protection against water submersion, impact, corrosion, and fungus. The H5 Handy from Zoom is a compact, portable handheld digital recorder that is capable of four-track recording and features an interchangeable, modular microphone system. The recorder ships with an XY microphone capsule and is compatible with the existing line of H6 modules including the optional shotgun mic and XLR/TRS input modules.
The included XY stereo mic module provides two matched unidirectional condenser microphones set at a 90 degree angle, and features a built-in shockmount system and a maximum SPL of 140dB. Additionally, the recorder is equipped with two inputs for external sources, allowing you to record simultaneously with the included stereo XY mic for a total of four input channels. Each input is controllable by its own analog gain knob, and also has a -20dB pad.
The recorder also has an LCD screen and a side-mounted toggle control for navigating through the menu options. It gives you fast access to transport functions, offering physical control buttons right underneath the screen, and conveniently stores its recorded audio to external SD cards.
In addition to the detachable X/Y capsule, the recorder also ships with a foam windscreen, two AA batteries, a USB cable, WaveLab LE (download), and Cubase LE (download). - Features:

The SKB iSeries Injection Molded Case For The Zoom H5 Recorder is made of a high-strength polypropylene polymer resin and is designed to resist damage from ultraviolet light, solvents, corrosion, fungus, and impacts. It features a rubber over-molded cushion grip handle for carrying comfort, a continuous molded-in hinge that automatically equalizes ambient pressure, locking loops for adding a lock, SKB's patented "trigger release" latch system, and will form a complete gasket seal to make the case watertight. The inside of the case features durable PE foam with space for the H5 recorder and an open pocket for accessories such as wind shields or the system's other modular microphone capsules.
