Product description Plug the 2949C 56K Dual Mode Fax Modem from Zoom into nearly any Windows, Mac, Linux, or Unix based computer equipped with a serial port and begin sending faxes in no time. Fully compatible with international V.90 standards, the modem will also communicate at V.34 bis and slower speeds. Once installed, the reliable 2949C Fax Modem features enhanced lightning protection to guard against power surges, a speaker to easily monitor the status of your call, and the ability to monitor the modem via nine LED indicator lights. - ZoomGuard Lightning Protection
