Product description The ZTS MBT-LA2Lead Acid Multi-Battery Tester provides a comprehensive means of testing the state of charge and battery condition for 2, 4, 6, 8, and 12V lead acid battery types (SLA, AGM, Gel, and Wet). Its lightweight and compact design makes it suitable for anyone working with lead acid batteries. This microprocessor-controlled instrument tests popular batteries with high accuracy pulse load test. After a fully automatic test cycle, the percentage of remaining battery capacity is indicated on the LED bar display. An integrated cooling fan dissipates the heat from the tester, and the circuit is protected against over-voltage. Rugged NBR rubber sleeve protects the tester against impact. This battery tester includes a 48" removable plier-type test lead set with solid copper clamps that have a maximum jaw opening of 1.125". This tester requires 4AA batteries (not included). The tester is also packaged with the K-MBTLA2 Accessory Kit that includes a protective soft case, suspension crown/hanging strap, and magnet for hands-free operation. The soft case has a secure hook and loop fastener flap and protects against dirt and impact. The hanging strap has a quick-release buckle for easy fastening to conduit, pipes, ladder rung, etc., and the magnet enables attachment to metal surfaces such as battery cabinets. - Computes state of charge and battery condition for 2, 4, 6, 8, and 12V lead acid battery types (SLA, AGM, Gel, Wet)
