Product description The Home Edition Advanced Security Firewall from Zyxel is an advanced security firewall, optimized for home protection. With advanced security features such as IDP, it protects the home network from inside out. The USG40HE even allows you to control how the home network is accessed. It allows blocking of certain websites and applications that may be inappropriate or data-consuming. The USG40HE offers a suitable hub for a home security system, guarding connected IP cameras and home automation devices. Antivirus and anti-spam can also be added for a strong layer of home defense. The security firewall also supports Intrusion Detection P2P Blocking and App Control (IDP). - Unmatched Home Security

- Application Intelligence
- It can identify, categorize, and control over 3,000 social, gaming, productivity, and other Web applications and behaviors allowing users to prioritize important applications and websites while blocking those that may include inappropriate content or use excessive amounts of bandwidth.
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP)
- ZyXEL's IDP system uses deep packet inspection (DPI) technology to scan multiple layers and protocols and locate vulnerabilities invisible to simple port and protocol based firewalls. It eliminates false positives with a database of malware signatures and provides effective home protection against intrusions and security threats.
