Lumicon Green #56 48mm Filter |
The Lumicon #56 Green 2" Filter differs from their Yellow-Green filter primarily because of its increased red attenuation. For example, a red roof or red flowers will become even darker, as will red lips and a dark tan. This filter is ideal for nature photography. In object photography, it is good for darker reds and lighter greens. For planetary ...

Lumicon Dark Blue #38A 48mm Filter |
This Lumicon Dark Blue #38A 2" Filter enhances detail in the sky. Inasmuch as a blue filter darkens the red end of the spectrum, stars, planets and other celestial objects that are red in nature will appear darker. Contrast will also be "boosted". For planetary observing, color filters bring out the most detail because planets are n...

Lumicon Orange #21 48mm Filter |
This Lumicon Orange 2" filter darkens blue, violet, green and yellow-green. The intensified effect of this filter borders on the abstract. In traditional photography, it darkens a blue sky with clouds to resemble the mood of an impending thunderstorm. Architectural photographs gain clarity and drama. For planetary observing, color filters bri...

Lumicon Dark Yellow #15 48mm Filter |
This Lumicon Dark Yellow #15 2" filter is commonly used for an even more noticeable increase in contrast than the #12 and is ideal for scenes where it is important to differentiate the green tonal values in both celestial observation and photography. It produces even greater blue suppression and leads to a further increase in the effects of d...

Lumicon Yellow #12 48mm Filter |
This Lumicon Yellow #12 2" filter is commonly used for a more noticeable increase in contrast than the #11 and is ideal for scenes where it is important to differentiate the green tonal values in both celestial observation and photography.
