Product description Dedicated purely to retouching of skin and portraiture applications, PhotoShop Cafe's Portrait Retouching for Everyone in Photoshop CS6 is a 13-hour-long course covering a wide variety of editing tips, techniques, and skills for fine-tuning your portraits. Hosted by Jane Conner-Ziser, this tutorial extends well beyond a simple set of tools and includes topics on how to recompose imagery, how to work with masks, layers, and selections, and how to improve the quality of facial features among a wide variety of subject types. In addition to the video lessons offered on this DVD-ROM, all of the lesson files are also included to help you in honing your newly gained retouching skills.
Designed within an intuitive interface for computer playback, this DVD-ROM allows you to quickly skip to lessons of interest and control your playback for the most effective learning experience. Many of the lessons are also complemented by included lesson files to help you follow along. Additionally, the video files can also be imported into iTunes for viewing on an iPad, iPhone 4 or later, or via an Apple TV. Lessons - Welcome

- Tips and Tools
- Focusing on using a Wacom tablet for the editing process, this introductory segment gives some useful hints on how to setup and configure your tablet and pen for retouching.
- Face Basics
- In specific regard to facial retouching, this lesson shows you how to setup and control every tool and process available in Photoshop for retouching skin. It offers suggestions on which tools are best for specific processes, such as how to filter out excessive texture while keeping the pores intact, and also how to combine techniques for greater efficiency.
- Adult Woman
- With an emphasis on maintaining a realistic looks, this section covers how to successfully retouch adult women and where to begin in order to gain successful results. Specific tops covered include how to make clothing corrections, posture work, eye brightening, and enhancement techniques to bring out more from a mature face.
- Adult Man
- This time focusing on an adult male, this lesson covers how to adjust posture and lighten facial components, while also touching on working with background distractions. More specifically, this section delves into working on enhancing eye colors and reducing color casts in beards.
- Grandparents

- Head Swaps
- This segment introduces three different techniques for swapping heads, along with reasoning behind when and how each technique can be effectively be used. Complementing the techniques are lessons on how to auto align layers, work with layer masks, and simple cutting and pasting of heads to minimize retouching time.
- Removing the Glare From Glasses
- Again offering three unique techniques, this lesson focuses on how to remove glare from glasses. Designed for different overall applications, these techniques include how to replace the eyes from another image, how to make skin patches, and how to fill in the glare from scratch using a variety of tools and techniques.
- Body, Background, and Eyes
- Using a photograph from a wedding, this lesson demonstrates how to adjust the overall color of a photograph, re-posture subjects, re-shape hair, retouch faces, and correct the eyes that may look a little off balance. Once mastered, additional speed techniques are taught to help when editing a bulk of images.
- Pen Tool and Masks
- Showcasing how to take people out of one image and place them in another, this segment covers using the pen tool to make precise selections and refine masks for varying edge detail and degrees of feathering. Additionally, specific attention is paid to de-fringing edge colors for more natural composite results.
- Drop-In Sky
- Focusing on replacing the sky within an image rather than the main subject, this tutorial offers a quick way for changing a bland sky in order to develop greater detail and colors to accentuate your subjects. Layers, layer masks, and blending options are applied as well as working with unlinked layer masks for more personalized compositions that are void of any auto-select errors.
- Image Recomposition

Through the remote efforts of a Tech was able to get back online, however, "settings" are only listed 1 - 5 with no action listed as was 'visibly' available, (i.e. Scan both sides, Black and White, Color, etc.)
